Reformer Pilates 核心床普拉提 · Taman Wahyu
Strong, Slow, Precise.
Group and private reformer pilates classes in Taman Wahyu, KL, on the carriage, for first timers and regulars alike.
The Machine · 认识核心床
What the reformer is.
Picture a bed like frame with a platform that slides. That platform is the carriage, and it moves against springs while you push, pull and hold. Straps and a footbar give your hands and feet something to work with, so your whole body is in on every movement.
Because the springs can be made lighter or heavier, the same machine challenges a strong regular and supports a complete beginner. That is the whole trick of it.
- Carriage the sliding platform you lie, sit or kneel on
- Springs the resistance, adjusted lighter or heavier for you
- Straps for hands and feet, to pull, press and stabilise
- Footbar a bar to push against with feet or hands
Why It Works · Desk Bodies Welcome
Made for bodies that sit all week.
Slow work, full attention, zero rushing.
It meets you where you are
Stiff from a desk week? The springs dial down and the carriage supports your range of movement while your body remembers how to move. No flexibility required on day one.
Control beats speed
Reformer work is deliberately slow. You move against resistance, hold, and return with control, which is where the strength actually comes from.
Beginners belong here
The teacher sets the machine up for you and talks you through every movement. Most of what feels strange in minute one feels good by minute ten.
Group and Private · 团课与私教
Two ways in.
Both formats are real classes at the studio, taught in English and Chinese. Pick the one that fits your week, or mix them.
Group · 团课
Move together
Shared energy, shared pace, a room full of people working on the same slow burn. Group reformer classes run across the week.
- The energy of a class moving as one
- Clear cues the whole room follows
- A weekly rhythm that is easy to keep
Private · 私教
Your pace only
One teacher, one student, one machine. The session is built around your body, your goals and your schedule.
- Full attention from start to finish
- A session shaped around you
- The easiest way to learn the machine first
Your First Time · 第一次
What to expect.
Nobody walks in knowing the machine. Here is how a first reformer class at the studio actually goes.
-
01Beat
Say it is your first time
Tell us when you book and tell the teacher when you arrive. That one sentence changes how your whole class is taught.
-
02Beat
Learn the machine
Carriage, springs, straps, footbar. Your teacher sets everything up for you and shows you each piece before you use it.
-
03Beat
Move slow, leave tall
Expect controlled, deliberate work rather than speed. You will feel muscles you forgot you had, in a good way.
Questions · Reformer Edition
Before you climb on.
Is reformer pilates suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. The springs adjust to meet you where you are, the teacher sets the machine up for you, and the pace is slow and controlled. If you would like extra attention for your first time, book a private session and learn the carriage one to one.
What is the difference between mat pilates and reformer?
Mat pilates uses your own bodyweight on the mat. The reformer adds a sliding carriage, springs and straps, so resistance can be dialled up or down and your range of movement is supported. Both run at Hae Studio, and many students do some of each.
Should I choose group or private reformer classes?
Group classes give you the energy of moving together. Private sessions give you the teacher's full attention and a session built around your body and your goals. Both are available, and you can mix them.
What should I wear or bring to a reformer class?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring water. If you are unsure about anything else, ask us on WhatsApp before your first class and we will tell you exactly what to expect.
How do I book a reformer class?
Booking runs on Rezerv, our booking platform. WhatsApp us and we will send you the right link and walk you through it, or book through our current site at haestudio.my.
